LESSON PLANS

The Wolastoq Education Initiative’s team is composed of individuals with backgrounds in education and children’s programming; they have two certified teachers on staff as well as a program manager who has delivered educational programming at an international level. WEI provides educational opportunities for First Nations children of all ages. Situated in a rural area where close contact with other organizations is maintained, they have a large number of community collaborators ranging from cultural organizations to social development groups. They have working relationships with local public schools and have a strong presence in delivering science education to students from kindergarten to grade 12. They have website sections on Projects, Academic support, and are part of ‘The Indigenous Journey’.
