In Montana, the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes of the Flathead Nation have been working for generations to preserve the biodiversity of the Mission Mountain Range. Comprising less than 5 percent of the population, Indigenous people care for 80 percent of global biodiversity. Yet everywhere their way of life is under threat, as is highlighted in this film by Salish member Julie Cajune.
