Born in Antigonish, NS. Acadian culture was an important part of my upbringing. Developed a passion for nature at a very young age. My formal background is in wildlife biology, conservation biology, a B.Ed with specialization environmental science, seven years with Parks Canada as an interpreter and four years as the education manager of Cape Jourimain Nature Centre. My pastimes are all related to the outdoors: hiking, birding, camping, and backpacking in the national parks.
