The song starts off with a clean guitar harmony that represents how the world used to be. Calm, quiet, peaceful, and very elegant. But as that harmony ends the distortion comes in and completely changes the whole mood of the song. This is to represent the current state of the world on how climate change is ruining this earth piece by piece quicker than we know it. With the first solo it is to represent someone who is trying to prevent it but when the solo ends it’s the realization that one person isn’t good enough to end it. So that’s why when the solo is harmonized at the end of the song, it’s the world trying to come together and prevent the climate change from getting worse.
