Stop Fast Fashion

My inspiration for this video comes from the documentary “The True Cost” by Andrew Morgan. I was inspired by the music and the shocking clips of how fast fashion pollutes the environment. I was also inspired by a trend called “corecore” on tik tok, where dramatic music is played overtop of unsettling reality and it brings awareness to current problems in the world. I chose to edit my video this way because I like when documentary’s do it. It grabs the persons attention and it can be really sad and eye opening. I wanted to show the reality of fast fashion by including clips from youtubers opening huge shein halls, dumping a box full of bags with cheap material (clothes) in it, then cutting to the harsh reality of what it does to our water and environment in general.
