Mindful Making

Students went on several nature walks to collect items to photograph, then return to their natural environment. They are researching the various plants and animals they came across on their walks and they are in the process of learning about printmaking in order to create a mural depicting the importance of water to the plants and animals that live in our area. Students will also create plaques/ podiums that will be placed in our outdoor classroom to showcase the connection between climate action and its effects on the animals and plants found in the outdoor classroom.
