Dramatic Arts Performance Space Energy Efficiency Upgrades

This particular project did not involve my classroom as much as it did school infrastructure-at-large. The energy efficiency upgrades we have installed (and will continue to install) in the school theatre have a reach significantly greater than any one class. For our drama productions (and associated Dramatic Arts classes), this grant has provided equipment that both decreases the energy consumption of those activities and draws attention to the subject of that consumption. For Yoga classes, the grant also decreases energy consumption while providing at “classroom” environment more conducive to the course and its requirements. For all of the learnings this grant provides, none of them end with this project – their educational and energy efficiency benefits will continue for years to come.
